I made a mistake with the passenger’s name. What should I do?
As required by the concerned governments, for international air travel, the name on your official passport must match the name on your reservation and ticket otherwise you may not be able to board your flight. (Examples of unmatched names are:reversal of family name and first name, misspelling, with or without middle name, etc.)
The passenger name cannot be changed even if the passenger will not be changed.
Please contact JAL call center (International Reservation and Information) in your region for further information.
Please note that in the event that your reservation/ticket needs to be cancelled, the cancellation charge will be applied based on your fare rule. For non-refundable tickets, the unused taxes may be processed for refund.
