bonjour
je vous ecris vite fait depuis le Cambodge, voici les reponses que j ai recues j espere que cela vous aidera:
We have brought our dogs into sri lanka twice, most recently this summer. It is relatively straightforward as long as you get the government vet clearance before you come, and are prepared to be patient in the airport as you deal with customs. http://www.daph.gov.lk/web/index.php?lang=en#. Most of the guidance here is good, although the actual online application was not not working in June. I faxed the application to them, and then had someone from our office here in Colombo follow up a few days later. They then e-mailed me, and sent me the electronic version of the certificate by e-mail. The person at the airport wanted the original, but eventually accepted the copy.
The quaratine requirements for dogs is that you have to keep them under home
quaratine for the first month. Basically they require the address where they
are housed and you should report any illness in that period. We have had no difficulty with this. We did have a lot of difficulty leaving the country last time, but that was to do with a crooked agent. Be careful when selecting any
agent. We have found it best to deal directly. Also, kennel facilities in Sri Lanka are pretty poor, but we did find a very good facility in Malabe this time, which i
would recommend. http://www.havendogslanka.com.
I trust this helps.
