We are pleased to inform you that Turtle Watching is available for visitors even without staying at the reserve. No prior reservation is required for groups with fewer than 15 members. Please note that we limit the number of participants for each tour to 300 people for the evening session and 100 people for the morning session. We kindly request that all visitors arrive at the reception at the specified times to ensure a smooth experience. No booking required.
Turtle Watching Timings:
- Night Turtle Watching (08:30 PM) – Please arrive in the lobby (Meeting Point) by 20:25 HRS.
- Dawn Turtle Watching (05:00 AM) – Please arrive in the lobby (Meeting Point) by 04:50 HRS.
Pricing (per person, per tour):
- Omani Nationals: RO 3.000
- Oman Residents: RO 8.000
- Visitors/Tourists: RO 12.000
Child Pricing (Age 3-12):
- Omani Children: RO 1.000 each
- Resident Children: RO 4.000 each
- Tourist Children: RO 6.000 each
Children below 3 years of age can join the tour free of charge.
Each price is for a single tour, and please note that morning tours have a lower chance of seeing turtles, so they are not recommended at this time of year. The evening tours, however, offer better opportunities for turtle sightings.
While we do our best to ensure a memorable experience, please be aware that Turtle Watching is entirely dependent on nature, and we cannot guarantee turtle sightings, timing, or any changes to the tour schedule.
The high season for turtle sightings is from May to mid-October, with fewer sightings outside this period. Evening tours typically offer higher chances of seeing turtles.
