Le mémorial de la seconde Guerre mondiale (World War II Memorial) a été inauguré par George.W. Bush en 2004. Il est situé sur la 17th Ave, entre Constitution et Independence Ave. World War II Memorial est plutôt classique. Quelques fleurs et photos posés par des passants lui donnent une certaine chaleur humaine. Plan d’eau ovale aux jets d’eau sympathiques.
